Obituary of Ronald Lamberg
Lamberg, Ronald M. "Ron"
Age 76, of Plainfield, and a former 30 year resident of Naperville, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Edward Hospital in Naperville.
Ron was born in Chicago March 6, 1935, the son of Anna (nee Bader) and Harry Lamberg. He attended Harrison High School in Chicago, graduating with the class of 1953. He was a United States Army Veteran.
Beloved husband of 46 years to Linda (nee Haiz); loving father of Ron Jr. (Amy), Mark and Laura (Butch) Hubbard; proud grandfather of Allison, Tommy, Joey, Wyatt, Nicholas and Karlee. Dear brother of Laverne Kalinowski and fond uncle of many.
Preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Harry Jr. "Buddy".
Ron retired from Sears Roebuck & Co. where he worked for many years, primarily in Catalog as a control buyer. A true family man, Ron and Linda raised their family in Naperville. They also resided in Woodridge for a few years, and have spent the last several years residing in Plainfield.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 2, 2012, from 2-9 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington) Joliet. Funeral services Tuesday, January 3, 2012, 9:45 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 126 S. Division St. (Rt. 59) in Plainfield, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to the Lamberg family as they will be setting up a memorial fund in the near future. For info (815) 741-5500
