Obituary of Robert Lang

Lang, Robert P. Age 48. Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights. Born in Blue Island, IL to the late Dale and Joan (nee Verhines) Lang, he was a lifelong Joliet area resident. Graduate of Joliet Central High School Class of 1981. He was an avid fan of the Grateful Dead. Bob enjoyed cooking, gardening and horticulture. Survived by his daughter, Johanna Lang of Springfield, IL; one sister, Kerri (Steve) Shipley of Lake City, IA; one brother, Greg (Audrey) Lang of Sedalia, MO; uncle of Seth Lang and Lauren Shipley. Visitation for Robert P. Lang will be Monday, May 7, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. Cremation Rites will be accorded with private family interment. In lieu of flowers, memorials for the benefit of his daughter, Johanna, would be appreciated. Arrangements by: FRED C.
