Theresa A. Lang
Age 29. Suddenly Friday December 9, 2011 as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Joliet and a lifelong Joliet area resident. A graduate of the Joliet Catholic Academy and the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus. Self employed as a Massage Therapist at the TMMA Ultimate Spa in Joliet. A member of TM Martial Arts under the guidance of Master Tim Harrison. Her greatest loves in life were spending time with her family and friends, perfecting her science of massage therapy, as an actress with the Joliet Drama Guild, and her practice of martial arts where she studied multiple disciplines including: Combat Hapkido, Tae Kwon Do and JLFS kickboxing. Theresa attained the ranking of Black Belt in JLFS kickboxing, presented to her October 2011 by the founder of the system, Grandmaster Joe Lewis. She was a vibrant, energetic, passionate woman, who loved to run, exercise and laugh. Her smile was contagious and she will be missed by all who knew her.
Survived by her mother Neda (Daniel) Zelehovitis and her father Arlen Lang, both of Joliet; three sisters, Andrea Lang, Ashley Lang and Alexis Zelehovitis; two brothers, Nicholas and Anthony Zelehovitis; maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Gloria Wruk. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Funeral Services for Theresa A. Lang will be Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 9:45 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at:
