Ledford, Delores (nee Cox) Age 82. Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Alden Estates of Naperville. Born September 5, 1929 in Alton, IL to the late Orvil Sr. and Opal Cox; she had resided in the Crest Hill area since 1961. Loving mother of Marilyn (Clyde "CV") Kern of Morris, Carol (Dan) Zeloof of Downers Grove, Steven (Debbie) Ledford of Joliet and Carl Ledford of Morris, IL; dear grandmother of Jeffrey Kern of Morris and James (Katie) Kern of Essex, IL; Jennifer (Tom) Nabzdyk of Morris; Erika Zeloof of Downers Grove; Jill (Robby Robbins) Ferrero of Joliet; Amanda (Rick Sharp) of Knoxville, TN; Stephanie Ledford of New Mexico; Carter and Blake Ledford both of Joliet; proud great-grandmother of Jena Kern, Cody Kern, Michael Skiotes, A.J. Sharp and Christopher Ledford; one sister, Alta Lee (late Gordon) Welch of Norris City, IL; two brothers, Orvil "James" (Donna) Cox Jr. of Hazelwood, MO and Glenn (Yvonne) Cox of Norris City, IL; Brother-in-law, Tom Halat of Huntley, IL. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Charles Ledford (2001); great-grandson, Robert Ledford; two sisters, Judy Batteiger and Cheryl Halat. Funeral Services for Delores Ledford will be Monday, October 17, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
