Obituary of Erwin Lee

Erwin G. Lee "Greasy" Age 87, of Goose Lake, died peacefully, Thursday, July 3, 2008 at the Morris Hospital. Born in Chicago September 29, 1920, to the late George and Christina Lee, he was a former Downers Grove resident where he was the owner of the George E. Lee Furniture Company. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and also a United States Army Veteran who served during WWII. He is survived by one son Robert (Carol) Lee, one daughter Barbara (late Paul) Dillane, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and a sister Marjorie Wyatt. Other survivors include a sister in law, Charlene Eike, two nephews, Don and Dave Wisniewski and several other relatives. Preceded in death by his first wife, Sylvia; second wife Delores "De" and his parents. Private services and Interment were held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. Arrangements were handled by the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 1201 W. Rt. 6 at Deerpath Drive in Morris. For information, (815) 942-5040
