Obituary of Margaret Lepszy

Lepszy, Margaret Mary (nee Dvorak) Age 71, of Joliet, IL, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 9, 2012. She was born January 1, 1941 in Chicago. Survived by her loving family, husband Richard Lepszy of 35 years; son David Salamunec, daughter Sandra Graham, stepdaughters Yvonne (Dennis) Gerecke and Elizabeth (David) Grganto, brothers Joseph (Veronica) Dvorak and Thomas (Noreen) Dvorak, sisters Rosemary (Thomas) Bachorz and Marilyn (Terry) Krolak; nine grandchildren, Timothy, Michael and Michele Graham; Stephanie, Melanie, Christina and Daniel Gerecke, Alex and Nicole Grganto; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Josephine Dvorak; brother, James (Helene) Dvorak; granddaughter, Ashley Daniels; and nephew, Ed Krolak. Marge was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a dedicated employee during her career that ranged from an Administrative Assistant at Square D with various positions in between, and her last position as a Sales Associate at JCPenney in Joliet. She enjoyed bowling, cooking, shopping, entertaining family and friends, and playing with her grandchildren. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Joliet Oncology-Hematology Associates of Joliet, Dr. Pundaleeka, Tasha Nehart and all the nurses and staff; and also to Joliet Area Community Hospice, Linda and Michelle, and the entire staff. Very special thanks to Fr. Larry Dreffein for his special visit and care of our Mom. Funeral Services for Margaret M. Lepszy will be Friday, January 13, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
