Obituary of Cheryl Lockhart

Lockhart, Cheryl Denise (nee Cherry) Age 47. At rest Wednesday, October 24, 2012. Following a valiant battle with several healthcare issues. Born in Ahoskie, N.C. and residing in Joliet the past 40 years, she attended Joliet East High School and was employed as a CNA. Cheryl was also an avid cook. Survived are three children, Tavares Cherry, Christopher Wiley and Brooklynne Cherry; three grandchildren, Aniyah, Nalijah and Jeremiah; her mother, Hattie Hatcher (nee Cherry); four sisters, Stephanie Cherry, Carolyn Weber, Laura Ferguson and Rhonda (Terrence) Terry; two brothers, Bernard and William Ferguson; loving niece of Brenda (George) Askew, Shane, Howard (Catherine), Jeffrey (Judith) Cherry, late Carl (Laura) Cherry and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded by her grandparents, Hattie Louise and George Cherry. Funeral Services for Cheryl D. Lockhart will be Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Pastor David G.
