Obituary of Donald Lorenz

Donald R. Lorenz "Big Boy" Age 67. Suddenly Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center with his beloved wife by his side. Born in Chicago, and a long time Joliet area resident. Retired from the Will County Sheriff Department as an Auxiliary Deputy. Employed by Toyo Pumps in Frankfort, IL as Vice President of Sales. Preceded by his parents, Raymond and Dorothy Lorenz, and one sister, Carol VanderLugt. Survived by his loving wife Susan C. Lorenz of Joliet; two daughters, Christine (Steve) Wyatt of Joliet, and Julie (Dan) Miller of Chicago; one stepdaughter, Stephanie (Michael) Edrington of Addison; and six grandchildren, Kaleigh, Ashley, Steven, Hailey, Cody and Andrew. Numerous nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral services for Donald R. Lorenz will be Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. John Lutheran Church for services at 10:00 a.m. Cremation Rites will be accorded following funeral services.
