Obituary of Frank Lucas

Frank G. Lucas Age 94, of Kentfield, CA and formerly of Joliet, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2009. Graduate of Joliet Township High School Class of 1932. Upon graduation from the University of Oregon in Eugene, he was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army and was stationed in England during WWII. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Angela B. (Walczak) Lucas (2007); parents, Ignatius and Ursula (Butkiewicz) Lukowski; one brother, Leonard Lukowski; four sisters, Mary Migala, Helen Trawinski, Leona Paris and Frances Lukowski; and one niece, Dorothy (Paris) Furdek. He was the dear brother of Joseph S. Lukowski of Joliet; and the cherished uncle of Barbara (George) Banas of Lisle, IL, Carol Lukowski of Joliet and Arlene (Pete) Earleywine of Caledonia, IL. Funeral services for Frank G. Lucas will be Saturday, July 11, 2009 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 18 N. Woodlawn Avenue, Joliet, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville.
