Obituary of Sally Neary

Neary, Sally Ann (nee Reuter) Age 65, of Morris, IL, passed away Monday, November 26, 2012 at Silver Cross Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 25, 1947 to the late Catherine (nee Boucher) and John Reuter in Joliet, IL where she was raised and educated, graduating with the class of 1965 at St. Francis Academy. She was the beloved wife of 37 years to Timothy A.M. Neary; Loving mother of Timmy and Kristen Neary. She is also survived by numerous cousins, in-laws, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and her granddog Princess. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Bill Reuter and her favorite dog Mandy. Sally, a 37 year resident of Morris, was employed by the Morris Police Department for many years. She really enjoyed being with her family and friends. She was one of the "Ya-Ya Girls", and was a charter member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Women's Auxiliary #1024 A great cook, she enjoyed her cooking shows, crime dramas, and court shows. As it was Sally's wish, cremation rites will be accorded. All friends and relatives are invited to gather at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home in Morris on Saturday, December 1, 2012 from 2 p.m. until the Memorial Service begins at 4 p.m. Reverend Steve Larson will officiate.
