Obituary of Ann Maddaus

Maddaus, Ann A. (nee Rapcan) Age 94. Passed away Sunday, October 14, 2012 at the Timbers in Shorewood. Born in Joliet, the daughter of Joseph and Magdalene (nee Albertusak) Rapcan, she resided in Mountain Home, AR for six years, relocating to Joliet. She was employed at Western Electric in Cicero for 32 and a half years, retiring in 1979. Member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, VFW Ladies Auxiliary Cantigny Post #367 and Ladies Auxiliary Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #300. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Earl T. Maddaus (1985); two sisters, Mary (late Robert) Hainline and Mildred (late Bill) Fiday; three brothers, Edward, John and Joseph Rapcan. Funeral Services for Ann A. Maddaus will be Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery.
