Rose S. Maichin
(nee Brusatori)
Passed away peacefully Sunday, June 22, 2008 at the age of 96. Rose and her husband Joseph owned and operated Second Avenue Clover Farm Grocery until 1972 and West Side Clover Farm, later to be known as Maichin Food Mart until 1983.
Preceded in death by her parents, Enrico and Marcellina; her husband, Joseph in 2004; brothers, Charles (Hattie), Emil (Doris) and Joseph (Flora Mae); a sister, Marie (George) Williams; nieces, Charlene Thomas and Gloria Jean Brusatori; and a nephew, Matthew F. Brusatori, Sr.
Survived by her nephew, Henry (Mary Fran) Brusatori; great-niece, Mary Fran (Andy) Tomac and their children, Alyssa and Bryan; and a great-nephew, Paul Brusatori. Also surviving are nieces, Doris (John) Sergeant of KY, Bonnie (Robert) Knutson of MI, Karen Pierce and Janet Stonebrook of CA. Second and third generation nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services for Rose S. Maichin will be Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to the Church of St. Anthony for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, masses are preferred. Visitation WEDNESDAY MORNING 8:30 a.m. until time of services at:
