Obituary of Charles Mangan

Charles Edmund Mangan "Chuck" Age 66, of Reddick, IL. Passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 22. 2008 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Born February 23, 1942 to Agnes and the late William Mangan. A U.S. Army veteran, where he was a heavy equipment operator. He retired from Lyondell Chemical Co. (formerly Equistar). He was the beloved husband of twenty-five years to Joanne (nee Santoro); loving stepfather of Pete (Shari) Bastounes; proud grandfather of Lisa Marie, Jessica Lee, Robert Charles, Danielle Pilar, Wilburn Joseph, Ray Matthew and Kayla Nicole; dear great-grandfather of Mariela Marie, Briana Pilar, Olivia Isabel, Ryan Wesley; devoted son of Agnes Mangan; loving brother of John, Paul, Margaret, Kathleen, Jane, Julie and Penny. Preceded by his father and one sister, Constance. A memorial service for Charles Magnan will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at the funeral home chapel.
