Obituary of Mary Marchio

Mary E. Marchio (nee Pelton) Age 90. Passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at home with her loving family by her side. Born July 26, 1918 in South Wilmington, IL to the late Walter and Margaret (Wilson) Pelton, she was a lifetime area resident. Surviving are her daughter, Carole Ann (John) St. George; son, Sam J. (Mary Jo) Marchio, Jr.; one sister, Alice Talarico; and many loving grandchildren and great- grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Sam J. Marchio, Sr.; her parents; sisters, Audrey (Felix) Cullick, Margaret (Pete) Vincent and Pearl (Sylvester) Nickiel; brothers, Robert (Lucille) and Walter (Pearl) Pelton. Mary's family would like to extend their gratitude to Joliet Area Community Hospice for their compassion and excellent care. As it was Mary's wish, private family services were held with interment next to her late husband at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville. Arrangements by: FRED C.
