Obituary of Tina Mayle

Tina Marie Mayle (nee Calandro) Age 48, of Channahon, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 8, 2010 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home with family and friends at her side, after a two-year courageous battle with breast cancer. Born September 23, 1961 in Murphysboro, IL to Angelina and the late Constantine Calandro, she was raised in Crest Hill and was a lifetime area resident. She was employed for nearly 30 years as a fingerprint technician for the Illinois State Police. Beloved wife of 15 years to Darrell Mayle; loving and devoted mother of Emilee; loving daughter of Angelina (nee Tedesco) Calandro; dearest sister of Rita (Michael) DeSett, Michael (Patti) Calandro and Claire (Jim) Hartley; fond daughter-in-law of JoeAnn Mayle; dear sister-in-law of Stephanie (Paul) Heinz and Angel (Bill) Burich; a loving group of two generations of nieces and nephews; several aunts and numerous cousins also survive. She will also be missed by many close friends as well as her canine companions Snickers, Maggie and Molly. Preceded in death by her father, Constantine; brother, Anthony Calandro; one nephew, Michael DeSett, Jr.; her father-in-law, Darrell Mayle. Tina loved spending time with her family and friends, was an animal lover and enjoyed concerts. A Memorial Service will take place on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the Will County Humane Society, Joliet Area Community Hospice or the Susan G.
