Obituary of Wayne Bauer

Bauer, Wayne M. Age 63, of Joliet, passed away peacefully, Sunday, October 30, 2011 at home with his family by his side following a courageous battle with cancer. Retired from the City of Joliet Street Department as foreman, after many years of service. Past President of the City of Joliet Employees Local #440, and past President of the Joliet East Side A.C. Wayne was a devoted family man and friend who will be sadly missed. Survived by his wife, Beverly JoAnne (nee Robbins) Bauer of Joliet; mother, Margaret (nee Nedelsky) Bauer of Joliet; one stepdaughter, Lisa (Lon Hoglind) Palcisko; grandchildren, Ticey and Gary Huttenhoff; and Cody Dengler; eight brothers and sisters, Tom (Wendy), Greg (Helen), Dave (Cathy), Larry (Annette), Susie, Phil (Patti), Theresa and Cindy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Thomas Bauer. Funeral Services for Wayne M. Bauer will be Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment St. Mary Nativity Cemetery.
