Obituary of JoAnn McCleary

JoAnn McCleary (nee Bartling) Age 77. Passed away Monday, February 2, 2009 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home. Born December 1, 1931 in Joliet, she was a lifetime resident. A graduate of Joliet Junior College. Past President of the Catholic High Mother's Club (1974). Survived by her loving husband of 53 years, William J. McCleary of Joliet; two sons, Bruce (Rebecca Carlisle) McCleary of Charleston, S.C. and Jay (Jamie) McCleary of Fleming Island, FL.; two daughters, Julie (John) Starasinich of Crest Hill and Luanne (late Donald) Syrek of Crest Hill; six grandchildren, Nicole Ciarletti; Meg, Katie and Lisa Starasinich; Frank and Mark Syrek. Preceded in death by her parents, George and Margaret (nee Brookman) Bartling; one daughter, Susanne McCleary. Funeral services for JoAnn McCleary will be Thursday, February 5, 2009 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
