Ruth Isabelle McClintock
(nee Stafford)
Age 91. Passed away peacefully, Sunday, June 28, 2009 at Lakewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Plainfield. Ruth was born on March 9, 1918 in DuPage Township, IL. A lifelong area resident, she was a graduate of Joliet Township High School. Ruth was the last of the eleven children in her family.
A loving wife and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she will be dearly missed.
She was preceded by her husband, Eugene L. McClintock (1982); parents, Arthur and Amy (nee Sutton) Stafford; daughter-in-law, Susan McClintock; her brothers and sisters, Enoch, Arthur, Charles (Gladys), Earl, William (Helen), George and Stanley Stafford, Mabel (Robert) Shepherd, Sarah Jane Rodesiler, and Helen Prillaman; and several nieces and nephews.
Surviving are her children, Richard (Patricia) McClintock, Joseph McClintock, John (Mary) McClintock, Daniel (Amy) McClintock, and Dorothy (Greg) Severson; grandchildren, Karin (Nagesh) Chelluri, Keith (Nicole) McClintock, Michael (Traci) McClintock, Michelle (John) Schneider, Kevin (Tiffany) McClintock, Craig (Lydia) McClintock, Samantha Rayner, Ashley McClintock, Sean McClintock, Beau Burdett, Kim (Kelly) VanHyning, and Kyle Severson; great-grandchildren, Jacob McClintock, McKenna McClintock, Jake McClintock, Samantha Schneider, Cody McClintock, and Tylee McClintock; in-laws, Merle and Doloris McClintock, Robert and Joan McClintock, Anna Stafford, Carolyn Stafford, and Marie Webb; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Ruth McClintock will be Friday, July 3, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorials to National Kidney Foundation would be appreciated. Visitation Thursday, 4-7 p.m. at:
