Obituary of Ola McCormick

Ola May McCormick (nee Schaefer) Of Verona. Passed away Friday, July 23, 2010 at Loyola University Medical Center at the age of 51. Born in Pinckneyville, IL. Formerly of Lockport. Living in Verona the past 21 years. Graduated from Lockport Central High School and Joliet Junior College where she received her associates degree. Ola loved boating, traveling, cooking, horseback riding and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Kenneth McCormick of Verona, IL; four daughters, Tiffany Pinnell of Streator, Tammy McCormick of Marseilles, Tonya McCormick of Morris and Tina McCormick of Marseilles. 9 grandchildren, her mother, Mary Schaefer of Swanwick, IL; her brother, Charles Schaefer of Heron, IL and 2 nephews also survive. Preceded by her father, John "Jack" Schaefer and brother John Schaefer. Funeral services for Ola May McCormick will be Sunday, July 25, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
