** PHOTO** Dolores R. McShane (nee Moran) Passed away Friday, January 30, 2009 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born in Joliet, she was a lifelong resident. Employed in banking for many years, she was associated with Union National Bank and Trust Company (now First Midwest Bank), retiring as Vice President. She loved to travel, and volunteered at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. Graduate of St. Francis Academy. Member of St. John Catholic Church, CCW, Catholic Women's League of Joliet, the Visitation and Aid Society, Ladies of the Elks Lodge #296, Women of the Moose Lodge #300, St. Patrick's Over 55 Club, Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center Auxiliary and the Will County Farm Bureau. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. McShane (Dec. 11, 1990); parents, Frank T. (July 20, 1982) and Marie C. (nee Surges) Moran (Dec. 23, 1977). Surviving are numerous cousins of the Moran and Surges Families, including Mary Ferro of Joliet, Janette Gentile of Joliet, Gerald Surges of Joliet, Charelene VanEss of Wisconsin, William Moran of Joliet, Raymond Moran of Joliet, Anna Marie Stratz of Joliet, Evelyn Onderisin of Joliet, Gerald Moran of Indiana, Francis Walsh of New Lenox, and Donald Surges of Colorado; godchild, Kathleen Fawley of New Jersey; and her faithful canine companion Maggie. Funeral Services for Dolores R. McShane will be Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. John Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Interment St. John Cemetery.
