Obituary of Caroline Megyeri

Megyeri, Caroline M. (Ortolda) "Carolyn" Age 90, a lifelong Joliet resident, passed away peacefully Monday, January 30, 2012 at the Emeritus of Joliet. Carolyn volunteered at St. Joseph Medical Center from 1967-1975. She was formerly employed by Wiebolt's Department Store from 1974-1983. Member of St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, Plainfield, and past President of St. Mary's Mothers Club. Survived by one son, Raymond Megyeri of Shorewood, IL; one daughter, Francine (Jim) Carnaghi of Channahon, IL; one granddaughter, Carrie Carnaghi. Preceded in death by her husband, Frank Megyeri; son, Jim; parents, James and Felicita Ortolda; and one sister, Mary. Funeral Services for Caroline M. Megyeri will be Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 9:45 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, Plainfield for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
