Obituary of Sheila Miech

Sheila Diane Miech (nee Porter) Age 47, of Manhattan, IL passed peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, April 21st, 2009 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, ending her courageous battle with breast cancer. She is survived by Bob Braun, a son Jeremy (Lana) of Joliet IL, a daughter, Jilliann (Zach) Pacha of Bloomington, IL, two sisters, Paula (Mike) Nichols of Somonauk,IL, Carla (Roger) Armstrong of Sheridan, Il. and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. She was preceded by her parents Donald and Barbara Porter. Sheila was employed as a Corporate Secretary at Austin Tyler Construction LLC. On any given day, she could be found playing games with her online friends, spending quality time with her friends and family, watching a good race or cheering on the Cubbies or the Bears. Funeral service for Sheila Miech will be Saturday, April 25, 2009 at the funeral home chapel at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Richard Ross officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Susan G.
