Obituary of Robin Miller

Miller, Robin L. (nee Koltes) Age 56, of Coal City, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at home surrounded by her devoted family. Born December 27, 1955 in Joliet, she was a 1974 graduate of Joliet Township East High School. She retired after 30 years from management at Caterpillar, Inc. She was an active volunteer for the United Way and many other community activities. She was also a member of the Caterpillar Employees Club. Robin was a wonderful wife and mother who loved her grandkids like no other. She was an amazing friend and confidant to many. She will forever be remembered for her generosity, her kind spirit, her loving soul, her laugh and her beautiful smile. She was an inspiration. Those who knew her couldn't help but love her and she will be sorely missed. Surviving are her husband, Carl W. Miller; one daughter, Tracy (Tony) Musser of Joliet; two grandchildren, Chase and Daisy Musser; one stepson, Bryan (Karin) Miller of St. Augustine, FL; one step-granddaughter, Reiley Miller; her father, Roy Lopez of New Port Richey, FL; two sisters, Sheri Lacy of Fern Park, FL and Lynda (Jose) Galvan of Joliet; one brother, Michael Koltes of Joliet; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Geraldine (nee Linden) Lopez Visitation for Robin L. Miller will be Friday, August 31, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial Services will be Saturday, at 11:00 a.m. at Channahon United Methodist Church, 24751 E. Eames, Channahon. Interment will be private. Arrangements by: FRED C.
