Obituary of Donald Mills SR

Donald J. Mills, Sr. Donald J. Mills, Sr., 71, of Romeoville and formerly of Garfield Ridge, passed away January 7, 2009 at home. A U.S Army veteran. Retired from the Chicago Police Department in 1996 as a field training officer, following 31 years of service. Survived by his beloved wife, Charlene (nee Cain) Mills of Romeoville; his loving sons, Donald, Jr. (Kristin) Mills, Joel (Breedge) Mills and Todd (Kim) Mills; five grandchildren, Lauren, Kyle, Ryan, Matthew and Kaitlyn. Preceded by his parents, Frederick and Anna (nee Geghan) Mills. Funeral Services will be Monday, January 12, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the Will County Humane Society appreciated.
