Delphine Minella
"Noni"
(nee Bazzarone)
Age 94. Passed away peacefully Monday, February 18, 2008 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, with her family by her side. Formerly employed by Oriental Cleaners for many years as a seamstress. She was known as the lady with the golden needle, because of her impeccable sewing skills. Her greatest love was spending time with her daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Guido Minella; her infant son, Raymond; parents, James and Margaret Bazzarone; two brothers, Teno and Steve (Irene) Bazzarone.
Survived by her loving daughter, Peg (Jim) Fenili of Joliet; three grandchildren, Karen (Paul) Betzwiser of Plainfield, Jim (Lori) Fenili of Minooka and Debbie (Mike) Matuszewski of Joliet; six great-grandchildren, Lauryn Lee and Taylor Matuszewski; Matthew Betzwiser; Paige, Jimmy and Stephanie Fenili; one sister-in-law, Lillian Bazzarone; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral Services for Delphine Minella will be Friday, February 22, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with Fr. Richard Ross officiating. A special thanks to Pat, Sandra, Denise and Linda, also Joliet Area Community Hospice for the exceptional care given to my mother. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery.
