Marie A. Miner Marie A. Miner was born in Joliet on June 2, 1931, the daughter of Alois and Anna Mae (Lasko) Wellner. Survived by her husband of 58 years, Lester C. Miner, Jr.; her daughter, Melody Fleming; her son, Lester C. (Kathie) Miner III; grandchildren, Candy Jacobson (Jody Ritz), Sarah (Shane) Bradshaw, Ryan (fiancee Lauren Kruis) Miner, Daniel Miner (Stephanie Minuth), and Jessica (Ryan) Vlasic; great-grandchildren, Josh and Rosa Martinez, and Breanna Konczal; her brothers, Al Wellner, and Albin (Toni) Wellner; brother-in-law, James Miner; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Natalie (Reno) Downs; son, Dwayne S. Miner; son-in-law, John Fleming; and granddaughter, Jennifer K. Miner. Services will be private.
