Obituary of Eleanor Misischia

Eleanor L. Misischia (nee Klenz) Age 91, of Joliet, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born September 15, 1918 in Fairmont, MN to the late Frederick and Elsie Klenz, she was raised in Peotone and resided in Joliet most of her life. A former Eagle River, WI resident for several years, where she and her husband, Frank, operated the Restwell Resort. She was an avid Cubs fan. Beloved mother of Ronald (Carol), David (Vicki), Ray (Bette) Misischia and Debbie (Jerry) Strohman; loving grandmother of ten; great-grandmother of 12; and great-great-grandmother of one; two sisters, Kathryn Polka and Marian Banks; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her husband, Frank (1983); parents; one brother and three sisters. Funeral Services for Eleanor L. Misischia will be Monday, December 21, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Entombment Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
