Monahan, Lorraine M. (nee Stetz) Age 86, of Joliet, passed away at home Monday, May 2, 2011. Born October 30, 1924 in Streator, IL. to the late Mary (Lucas) and Andrew Stetz. Beloved wife of the late Patrick J Monahan; Loving mother of Kathleen (Thomas) Moore, the late Patrick J. (Denise) Monahan Jr., Martin (Marlene)Monahan, Christine (Edward) Tomasino, Brian (Paulette) Monahan, Roch (Margaret) Monahan and Lance (Deanna) Monahan. She was also a loving grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. Preceded in death by her husband Patrick, son Patrick Jr., grandson Richard Rushing; her parents; four brothers and one sister. All friends and relatives are invited to gather at St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church, 706 N. Broadway, Joliet on Wednesday May 4, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial is celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Entombment Resurrection Mausoleum.
