Obituary of Dolores Bebar

Dolores I. Grassle Bebar (nee Princko) Passed away peacefully Sunday, November 4, 2007 at Provena St. Joseph Medical after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Joliet and a lifetime area resident. A longtime parishioner of St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church. She retired from U.S. Steel after many years of service. Dolores is preceded by her first husband, Richard Grassle; her second husband, Philip "Jake" Bebar; her parents George and Anna Princko; stepson John Bebar; brother, George Princko; and sister, Ann Jurevich. She is survived by sisters Helen Smith, Lucille Shepich and Loretta Brncich; sister-in-law Jane Davy; stepchildren William (Jacqueline) Bebar, Daniel (Mary) Bebar, Gary (Judy) Bebar, Mary (Terry) Wetmore and Fred Bebar; stepdaughter-in-law Georgiann Bebar; and numerous nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. She is also survived by dear friend Bonnie Gerrettie and her Euchre circle friends. Dolores' family would like to extend thanks to the doctors and staff of Joliet Oncology, Will County Medical Associates and Provena St. Joseph Medical Center for the care given to her during her illness. Funeral services for Dolores I. Grassle Bebar will be Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Mary Nativity Cemetery. Memorials in her name to the Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated. Visitation Tuesday, from 2-8 p.m. at: FRED C.
