Obituary of Carmen Moreno

Carmen M. Moreno Age 72. Peacefully on her birthday, Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born in Weslaco, TX, she was a long time Joliet area resident. A devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed sewing. Preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Moreno, Sr.; one son, Eduardo Moreno; one grandson, Ruben R. Franchini; her parents Agapito and Elvira Marinez; two brothers, Santiago and Jesus Marinez and one sister, Mary Eguia. Survived by two sons, Daniel (Michelle) Moreno, Jr. and Jose Luis Ledesma; two daughters, Elizabeth Meza and Maria (Rafael) Soriano all of Joliet; nine grandchildren, Daniel III, Anthony, Samantha, Antigone, Rafael Jr., Carlos, Christopher, Vanessa and Olivia; five great-grandchildren, Adriana, Daniel, Esperanza, Gerardo and Gabriella; one sister, Antonia Caballero of Joliet; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and her best friend, Theresa Lopez also survive. Funeral Services for Carmen M. Moreno will be Saturday, August 29, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. As it was Carmen's request, Cremation Rites will be accorded following the Mass.
