Obituary of Elizabeth Moretti

Elizabeth Moretti (nee Lyons) Age 83. At rest Wednesday March 12, 2008 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born in Fairbury, IL to the late Phillip and Elizabeth (nee Moran) Lyons, she resided in Joliet most of her life. Retired from Argonne National Laboratory. Member of the Church of St. Jude. She was an avid reader. Surviving are her son, James (Deborah) Moretti of Decatur; four grandchildren, David (Erin) Montesano of Geneva, IL, Melissa (Dan) Moran of Bloomington, Amanda (Robert) Slifer of Decatur and Jonathan Moretti of Decatur; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Gibson-DeLorenzo of Chicago Heights and Mary (Francis) Munsch of CA; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her husband, Eugene J. Moretti (1981); and her parents. Funeral Services for Elizabeth Moretti will be Monday, March 17, 2008 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to the Church of St. Jude for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
