Obituary of Walter Mueller

Walter W. Mueller March 14, 1924 - June 2, 2010 Walter W. Mueller, 86, Sarasota FL, formerly of Joliet, IL died June 2, 2010, following a long battle with Parkinson's disease. Survivors include his wife of 62 years Elaine; daughters Rebecca (Dennis) Maiotti of Osprey, FL, Jennifer (John) Dempsey of Scottsdale, AZ; sister, Jane Miller of Orville, OH; grandchildren Jennifer and David (Anca) Maiotti, Patrick (Anna) and Scott Dempsey and great-grandchildren Maria and Adriana Maiotti. A WWII Army veteran and graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College, Berea, OH, where he later served on the board of trustees and was awarded an honorary doctorate degree, he retired in 1986 as president of Lennon Wall Paper Company, Joliet, IL. He also served as president of Divinity Lutheran Church, Parma Heights, OH, and the Wallcovering Manufacturer's Association. Private family services were held at Faith Lutheran Church in Sarasota with interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet. Arrangements by: FRED C.
