Obituary of David Mulcahy

Mulcahy, David Joseph "Mo" Age 50. At rest Wednesday, October 31, 2012 in San Diego, CA. following a couragous battle with his lifelong ailment. Formerly of Joliet and Texas, he lived in San Diego for over 20 years. At the age of five, David was the poster child for Cystic Fibrosis. A graduate of Joliet Catholic High School Class of 1980. He loved the Chicago Cubs and Bears; also the San Diego Chargers. David loved all music! David's sense of humor was contagious to everyone he knew. He will be missed by family members and all his friends he made during his short years on earth. Survived by his father, Bill Mulcahy of Joliet; his mother, Joan Benedict of Sequim, WA; two sisters, Peggy Jo (Ross) Eckert of Fort Walton Beach, FL and Sharon Lynn (Ray) Salzman of Minooka; one niece and five nephews also survive. Preceded in death by two brothers, Billy and Sean who both passed away from the same debilitating illness as their brother David. Funeral Services for David J. Mulcahy will be Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Patrick Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
