(nee Murphy)
Age 92. Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Lakewood Nursing in Plainfield. Born in Joliet, she was a lifetime area resident. Founding member of the Cathedral of St. Raymond. She loved her Irish heritage, and was an avid Chicago White Sox fan. Her witty sense of humor will be missed.
Survived by her daughters, Betsy Kahler and Patty Lesh; grandchildren, Debbie (Mike) Doles, Christopher (Chris) Kahler, Angela (Doug) Hutton, Matt, Katie and Anna Lesh; Cindy (Praful) Bhusari and Mary Beth (Jim) Keegan; and nine great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Elizabeth (nee Dolan) Murphy; husband, John E. Mulvihill (1963); daughter, Judy Gannon; her twin, Dorothy Butterbach; siblings, Loretta, Chuck, Dan, Lucille, Betty, Frances, and J.J. Murphy.

Funeral Services for Mary L. Mulvihill will be Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus, 604 N. Raynor Avenue, Joliet where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation WEDNESDAY MORNING at the church from 8:30 a.m. until time of Mass.
