Obituary of Josefina Muñoz

Josefina Muñoz (nee Escobedo) Age 84. Passed away peacefully Monday, October 3, 2011 at her home in Bolingbrook, surrounded by her loving family. Born May 25, 1927 in Comonfort, Guanajuato, Mexico, she was the daughter of Augustine and Constanza (Salinas) Escobedo. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and fond grandmother and great-grandmother. She will never be forgotten. Survived by her children, Rosa-Elena Muñoz, Irene (Jose Luis) Oseguera, Roberto Muñoz Jr., Genoveva (Antonio) Mandujano, Jose (Veronica) Muñoz, Alejandro Muñoz, and Jaime Muñoz; one sister, Roselia Lara; one brother, Ruben Escobedo; her beloved grandchildren, David, Carolina, Maria-Irene and Jose Luis Jr. Oseguera, Antonio and Yolanda Mandujano, Ricardo and Jose Jr. Muñoz, and Christine Muñoz; and her great-grandson, Aaron Gomez. Preceded by her beloved husband, Roberto R. Muñoz. Visitation for Josefina Muñoz will be Thursday, October 6, 2011 from 1:30 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, October 7, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel.
