Obituary of Lucy Murdaugh

Lucy M. Murdaugh (nee Sharp) Age 81. At rest Saturday, October, 17, 2009 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Born in Marseilles, IL and a resident of Lockport the past 51 years. Graduate of Marseilles High School. Member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Lucy's greatest joys in life where children. Survived by her loving husband of 53 years, George Murdaugh of Lockport; three children, George (Tonyia) Murdaugh of Joliet, Christine (John) Leal of Jackson, TN and Rhetta Johannson of Mokena; five grandchildren and one great grandson; one brother, Harel (Betty) Sharp. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Lucy M. Murdaugh will lie in state at First Church of the Nazarene, 1009 S. Briggs St., Joliet on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral services at 10:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
