Obituary of Margaret Nemeth

Margaret B. Nemeth (nee Sablatura) Age 98. Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at Rosewood Care Center. Born in Joliet and a lifelong resident. Former member of St. Mary Carmelite Alumni Club and was a current member at the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus. Margaret enjoyed crocheting and gardening. Survived by her sister Anna (late Adam) Sefcik; stepsisters, Marge (John) Slucki, Irene (Arthur Jahnke); stepbrother, Thomas (Helen) Hucik; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Joseph (2007); parents, John and Anna (nee Purdiak) Sablatura; stepmother, Mary Sablatura; sisters, Mary (Joseph) Vrencur, Cecelia (Raymond) Whalen and Josephine (Peter) Baron. Funeral Services for Margaret B. Nemeth will be Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home to the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Ss. Cyril & Methodius Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to Joliet Area Community Hospice or Masses in her memory would be appreciated.
