Obituary of Helen Belanger

Helen M. Belanger Age 85, of Joliet, and formerly of Bolingbrook, passed suddenly Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center, surrounded by her family. A kind, gentle, committed and loving mother and grandmother, she was the matriarch of the Belanger family and devoted her entire life to her family. Beloved mother of Gloria (Walter) Baker of Aurora, Ronald (Nancy) Belanger of Elgin, JoAnn (Bill) Austin of Joliet, Yvonne (Bill) Detten of Bolingbrook, and Denise (Lou) Hoffman of Plainfield; devoted grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Preceded by her beloved husband, Edward J. Belanger (1972); son, Thomas at birth; parents, Martin and Anna (Deptuch) Wawrzyniak; and two brothers, John and Edward Wawrzyniak. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside. Visitation Tuesday from 3-8 p.m. at Fred C.
