Obituary of Jane Olin

Jane C. Olin (nee Gregori) Age 80. Passed away peacefully Sunday, February 10, 2008 at the Rosewood Nursing Home in Joliet. Born November 7, 1927 in Chicago to the late Raymond and Mary (nee Ryan) Gregori, she was a lifetime area resident. Graduate of Marywood High School and Northwestern University. She was a parishioner of St. Jude Catholic Church, a Woman of the Rotary, and a member of the Joliet Women's Club and the Catholic Women's League. She also enjoyed painting. Mrs. Olin began her career as a social worker in Sacramento, CA, and continued volunteering in Joliet with the Family Counseling Group, and starting Operation Friendship. Jane is survived by her children, Greg (Paula) Olin of Joliet, John (Terri) Olin of Fox Point, WI, and Nancy (Vic) Luperini of Naperville; grandchildren Michael, Steven, Megan and Sarah Olin, Sam, Rebecca and Jake Olin, and Mark, Ryan and Eric Luperini; and nephew Jim Gregori. Preceded by her brother, Donn (Ruth) Gregori. Funeral services for Jane C. Olin will be Thursday, February 14, 2008 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Jude Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Richard Ross and Fr. Michael Lane concelebrating. Private family interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the United Cerebral Palsy of Southeast Wisconsin, 7519 W.
