Obituary of Clara Otis

Clara J. Otis Age 99, passed away at Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home, Saturday, July 31, 2010. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Otis (March 16, 1989); her father and mother, Peter Pink and Elizabeth Hoffman Pink; a sister, Mildred (Alphonse) Klaas; and two brothers, Robert and George. Survived by her second cousin, Lorraine Gilbert; and her good friends, Alan and Carol Zobel, Lynn and Dan Hischier, Barb Cass and Bob (late Carol) Hartley. Clara and her husband operated several gas stations in Joliet, and she worked at Lewis Brothers Shoe Store many years. A Memorial Mass for Clara J. Otis will be held Friday, August 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home, 1201 Wyoming Ave., Joliet. Her body has been donated to medical science. No Visitation.
