Christa Owens At rest Sunday, July 26, 2008 at her late residence. Born October 5, 1928 in Minden, Germany and a Joliet area resident of 55 years. Worked at Silver Cross Hospital over 25 years. Loving mother of Helen Selock, Shirley (Antonio) Guzman, Georgia Chiovatero, Bradley (Tracy) Owens, Judy (Rich) Pihl, and Ken (Dawn) Owens; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one brother, Dieter (Sigrid) Schrapler; one nephew, Holger Schrapler; one niece, Barbara (Achim) Strateman; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
