Richard D. Pace
"Dick"
Age 63, of Braidwood, IL, died unexpectedly Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at his home.
He was born September 2, 1946 in Carrollton, Georgia, he was a Will County area resident most of his life.
Survived by son, Tyne Pace (Danielle Rich); one daughter Bree (Erik) Wagoner; Donna (nee Eneix) Pace; grandchildren, Gage, Davan, Kade; and Max; step-father James "Bud" McDonald. Beloved to Mark (son), Noreen and Andrea Guidio. Also survived by his loving companion Connie Chambers as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives including Tommy Pace, Theresa Pace, Milton "Juno" (Carol) Eneix, Betty Coates.
Preceded in death by his mother Frances "Grambo" McDonald; father Clarence (Jeannine) Pace; a granddaughter Macee Wagoner; and Zita "Granny" Eneix.
A U.S. Navy Veteran and recipient of two purple hearts and several service medals after serving in Vietnam. He was an electrician who retired in 2008 after 35 years with IBEW Local #176. "Tricky Dick" was truly one of a kind, who lived life to the fullest, an amazing father, grandfather and friend to many. He had a passion for Hot Rods and Harleys which are welcome and encouraged for his final cruise.
Funeral Services for Richard D. Pace will be Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Willard Grove Cemetery, Channahon. Visitation Monday 3-8 p.m.
