Obituary of Joyce Belom

Joyce Belom (nee Brock) Age 81, of Joliet, passed away peacefully, Thursday, November 24, 2011 at Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital. Born April 4, 1930 in Joliet to the late Carl and Julia (Molnar) Brock, she was a lifetime resident. A graduate of Joliet Township High School, Class of 1948. Beloved wife of John A. Belom; loving mother of Kirin (Matthew) Rice, John Belom and Kay (Michael) Joho; proud grandmother of Jill (Nate) Cover; Kevin and Steve Joho; dear great-grandmother of Nathan, Logan and Teagan Cover. Several nieces, nephews and cousins, including a special cousin, Lorraine Belom survive, as well as a special caretaker, Julie Zwart. Preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Fred Brock; and her daughter-in-law, Jane Lowdon Belom. Funeral Services for Joyce Belom will be Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
