Paganoni, Richard M.
Age 85. Passed away Monday, April 18, 2011 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Graduate of Joliet Township High School Class of 1943. A United States Army Veteran serving in Germany and France (European Theatre) during WWII in the 82nd Airborne Division Paratroopers. Retired letter carrier from the United States Postal Service after 34 years of service. He was an avid gardener and animal lover.
Loving father of Mary Ann (Rudolph J.) Stimac of Joliet; grandpa of Rudolph R. Stimac and Nicole N. (Kristopher) Kritzer; dear brother of Rosemarie Paganoni Thompson, and Sandra Lee Duffy (Nathan) Villagomez.
Preceded in death by his wives, Ann, Marlene and Audrey; parents, Albino and Elizabeth (nee Rota) Paganoni; one brother, Albert J. Paganoni and brother-in-law, Conrad Thompson, Jr.
Funeral Services for Richard M. Paganoni will be Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for a Funeral Liturgy at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, the Will County Humane Society or Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
