Obituary of Lois Adorable

Lois A. Palmer "A" for Adorable Age 84, of Wilmington, formerly of Joliet, passed away with family by her side, Sunday, September 12, 2010 at Silver Cross Hospital. Preceded in death by her husband, Sheldon Palmer; parents, Adele and David Greene; two brothers, James and David (Sonny) Greene; and one sister, Ione Hahn. Survived by her children, Michael (Renae) Palmer, Shelly Brandolino-McLaughlin, Judi (John) Burgett, and David (Diane) Palmer; two sisters, Ardis (Albert) Cassani and Judy (Jerry) Swango; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren one siste-in-law, Roselind Krieger; numerous nieces and nephews; and many close friends. Lois was born August 13, 1926 in Wilmington, IL. She was co-owner/operator of Palmer's Garage, Inc. for many years. Lois was also involved with the Council of Catholic Women (CCW), her Small Faith Group of Sacred Heart Parish, Homemakers, Royal Neighbors of America, Antique Club, C.B. Club, and Women's Bowling Association of Stone City Post. Funeral services for Lois A. Palmer will be Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to Sacred Heart Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
