Victoria S. Pantoja-Vieyra
(nee Chorak)
Age 53. Saturday, March 7, 2009 at Silver Cross Hospital following a long-term illness. Born July 8, 1955 in Joliet to the late John and Claire (nee Luce) Chorak, she was a lifetime resident. Member of the Will County Trail Riders; she was an avid equine enthusiast and bird watcher. Co-owner and operator of Vierya's Landscaping.
Loving wife and best friend of Willibaldo Vieyra; beloved mother of Melanie (Patrocinio) Ruiz, Sonia (Ruben) Tellez, Jose Antonio Vieyra, Lourdes Vieyra, Willibaldo Vieyra, Jr. and Anna Maria Vieyra; proud and loving Nana of Alexis Suzanne, Cecelia Lynn, Jose Antonio, Jessica Elizabeth, Moises Jr., Marianna Lynn, Raul, Emilia, Ruben "Chano" and Willibaldo Vieyra IV; one great-grandchild, Diego Moises; loving sister of Gail (late Wally) Horton, Mary (Jose) Diaz, Kathy (John) Chase and Melody (Victor) Santiago; dearest friend and "Sister" of Rhonda (Oliver) Torres; she was a loving sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend to many.
A prayer service for Victoria S. Pantoja-Vieyra will take place Saturday morning, March 14, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home with inurnment to follow at Elmhurst Cemetery in Joliet. Visitation will be Friday from 1-3 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. until the funeral service begins at 8:00 p.m. at:
