Obituary of Kenneth Pfrommer

Kenneth E. Pfrommer Age 65, of Joliet the past 12 years, and formerly of New Lenox, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2008 at Loyola University Medical Center of complications from his courageous battle following bone marrow transplant. Born December 16, 1942 in Chicago, he retired from Local #597 where he worked as a pipefitter for 30 years. Ken was the quiet and strong rock of his family, and will always be remembered for his devotion to his beloved grandson, Ethan. Surviving are his loving wife, Elizabeth A. "Beth" (nee Roche) Pfrommer; one son, Joshua Pfrommer; one daughter, Sarah Pfrommer; one grandson, Ethan; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded by his parents, William and Gertrude (nee Schalk) Pfrommer; two brothers, William and Robert; and one sister, Margaret. Funeral services for Kenneth E. Pfrommer will be Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private.
