Obituary of Frieda Plevnik

Frieda Plevnik Age 89, of Joliet, passed away Friday, September 25, 2009 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. Frieda was a devoted wife, loving sister, and beloved aunt. She will be remembered for her delicious baked goods which were always ready for family and friends when they dropped by her home. She also enjoyed gardening and cooking. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Plevnik (1998); her parents; and one sister. She is survived by a sister in Slovenia and brother in Austria; and numerous nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her dear friends and caregivers, Tom and Margaret Siener, Carl and Jane Udovich and Tony, as well as her neighbors. Funeral services for Frieda Plevnik will be Monday, September 28, 2009 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
