Obituary of Rosalyn Pollock

Pollock, Rosalyn S. (nee Sager) Age 87. At rest Thursday, May 10, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Chicago, residing in Joliet since 1950. Graduate of Marshall High School in Chicago. Rosalyn was employed with the family business, Collins Street Auto Parts for part of her life. Member of Joliet Jewish Congregation, Hadassah, Sisterhood and the League of Women Voters. Rosalyn took great pride in her family, enjoyed yoga and was an excellent seamstress. Survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Alvin Pollock of Joliet; four children, Randall Pollock of Philadelphia, PA, Audrey (John) Marks of Los Angeles, CA, Kenneth (Krisanne) Pollock of Joliet and Dayle Pollock of Morton Grove, IL; three grandchildren, Sarah (Russell) Shelley, Segal Boaz and David Corwin; one great-grandson, Barnaby Shelley; several nieces and nephews; and devoted caregivers, Esleen Mae Delgado and Thalma Absin. Funeral Services for Rosalyn S. Pollock will be Monday, May 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Joliet Jewish Congregation, 250 N. Midland Avenue, Joliet. Rabbi Charles Rubovits officiating. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Joliet Jewish Congregation or Hadassah would be appreciated.
