Obituary of Timothy Presler

Timothy A. Presler Age 66. Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born June 25, 1946 in Evergreen Park, he was a long time Crest Hill area resident. Attended Governors State University. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving in Vietnam. He was the former Chief of Police for the Village of Westhaven, IL, and retired as a security sergeant at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. He enjoyed fishing. Preceded in death by his parents, William A. and Mary Eileen (nee Mulligan) Presler. Survived by his wife, Sharon (nee Shea) Presler; son, Sean M. (Stacy) Presler of Wilmington; stepdaughter, Stephanie (Christopher) Harper of Diamond; stepson, Michael (Mindy) Haglund of Vernon Hills; two grandsons, Jonathan and Connor Presler both of Wilmington; step-granddaughter, Amber Harper of Diamond; his twin brother, James F. (Virginia) of Orland Park, brothers, William J. (Sharon) of Oak Forest, Christopher T. of Blue Island, Thomas R. (Debra), and Daniel (Jackie) Presler of Florida. Memorials Services for Timothy A. Presler will be held on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Inurnment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Memorials in his name to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to the wishes of the family would be appreciated. Family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. at: FRED C.
